Proliferate — Investor Update | February 2026

Hope everyone's having a great February. We're gearing up for our first public launch early next week. Excited to share where we're at.

We've shifted focus. We saw real customer pull for vertical AI tools like our observability product, but kept seeing the same thing: every vertical tool we built was getting pulled horizontal. Agents can now ship end-to-end- write code, triage alerts, update tickets, coordinate across tools. Ramp, Coinbase, and Handshake are building internal agent setups wired into their full stacks to do real work. The market wants generalized agent infrastructure, not point solutions, and the time is right now.

The infrastructure to support this doesn't exist yet. Agent sessions are stuck on laptops with no observability. Teams are gluing together access with ad-hoc MCP servers and personal API keys. When an agent opens a PR, someone still has to manually pull the branch to check if it works. Every company we've talked to is hitting these same walls.

For those reasons, Proliferate is now the open-source cloud harness that enables coding agents to do real work at real companies.  We’ve built isolated, snapshotted environments that give agents secure access to GitHub, Sentry, PostHog, Linear, Slack- everything a real engineer would need access to. Every session produces shareable output with previews, screenshots, and test results. Open source is part distribution strategy and part moat- enterprises need to control what runs in their stack.

Our aim is to be known as the default open-source tool for this new way of working, and leverage open-source distribution to secure enterprise traction. We're excited by the design partners we're working with, but more excited to build an open-source community
